J.R. Alford Greenway

J.R. Alford Greenway covers more than 800 acres of pastures, mixed forests, hardwoods, freshwater swamps and a lake setting and is another site on the Great Florida Birding Trail. Among the variety of birds common here are red-tailed hawks, wintering palm warblers, white-throated and grasshopper sparrows and eastern meadowlarks. It also includes more than 17 miles of multi-use trails, popular with runners, hikers, cyclists, and horseback riders.
